Last week, on Monday, the girls and I drove past Cookie Cutters on our way to running some errands. I kind of had the thought of getting her a haircut in my head for some days. She saw me buzzing Aaron's hair the other day and then kept asking me to cut her hair too "Cut it off mami" That's what she kept saying, pointing at her hair. So when I saw the place I almost didn't hesitate and pulled into the parking lot. I asked her if she still wanted a haircut and very excited responded "Yes, cut it off!" It's a nice little place. We didn't even have an appointment and we only had to wait for about 10 min, the lady who came in right behind us had to come back the next day, so I guess it was meant to be, ha-ha! Meanwhile Naomi played in the little slide they have. Their stations each have a TV in front of it and they get to choose which movie they get to watch, sweet! They didn't have those when I was growing up! Their seats are also very cool, little trains and planes or cars. So she immediately wanted to jump right in. Her hair was very long already, so I was kind of sad when I saw her taking the first cut, but it turned out really cute at the end after she styled it and everything. So pretty! I loved it. Then before leaving she got to have a sucker and a balloon, nice! We kept it a surprise for Aaron until he got home and Naomi was very excited to show daddy her new haircut. Aaron was very happy to see her new haircut and also thougth she looked very pretty, of course. She keeps telling everybody that "Hermana cut it off" She calls everybody who she doesn't know "hermana." She gets it from church. Funny little girl. Here are some pictures of her new look!
