Valentines picture attempt

For Valentines I wanted to give Aaron a picture of the girls and I to have on his desk at work. So I went and bought a pretty frame for it, all I had left was taking the picture. The day before Valentines I tried to do this, but failed in my attempts. I could not get a discent shot! Naomi was distracted and kept asking for the doodlebops. Josie strated crying so I had to give her something to chew on. I was getting very frustrated and decided to leave it at that. I did give Aaron the frame anyway and told him my story. He laughed looking at the pictures and said he could take the picture later. We did get lots of funny ones and thought someone needed to see at least some of them. Enjoy!
Naomi kept pulling on Josies hair band

Naomi to Josie: Oh baby Josie, you're over reacting. Say cheese!
Naomi pocking on Josie's hear. Josie barely made it into the picture

This was the best shot, too bad Josie wasn't sitting high enough, but her eyes and little nose look cute anyway. Naomi goofing off like always.

Three legged dog

We rescued a three legged dog this weekend! On Sunday we went to a baptism in our branch and at the end of the service as we walked toward our car, there it was in the parking lot, approaching everyone in it's way. Nobody seemed to notice or chose to ignore it. I called her over and she came. She was very submissive, she layed by my feet with her tummy up. She had a name tag with her owners address and phone number so we were able to know where to take her. She wagged her tailed and brushed up against us as if she was thanking us. She was a sweet dog. She jumped right in the front seat of our car as if she knew were we were taking her. Naomi was really excited and kept calling her wow-wo. We found her home, but no one answered the door. There was a leash seating on their porch so we tied her up and walked away. Naomi kept asking for the wow-wo, she was a little sad that we weren't taking her home with us. It felt good to know that someone would have their dog back, safe and sound. I only hope that if Tank ever gets lost someone will be kind and brave enough to aproach him and bring him home to us. We also learned that name tags are really important, we always take his off because it's really noisy, but Aaron told me that there are some rubber covered ones and we will be getting one of those.

Hermana Areli

She was in a trio companionship in her last area.

This is her current area with sister Veliz. They got a 50 mile cut out of the milage they get to use on their car, so they have been using their bikes a lot lately. Good exercise!

This Valentines day will be a year since my sister Areli left on a mission. She entered the MTC on february 14 2007, so yeap the big "1 year mark" is comming up and she will be left with 6 more months to go. Wow! it has gone by so quickly. I know this has been the best year of her life and that makes me so happy for her. It's weird how knowing what she is doing makes it so that we don't miss her very bad, it must be one of the blessings we get for her service. She emails home every week and with every letter we can see her progress and her growth, it's amazing. She is one of the best persons that I know and I feel so blessed to have her as my sister and even though she is younger than me, I have learn many things from her, things that can only be taught by example. I know the Lord has great things in store for her upon her arrival and I am so excited to get to see those things whatever they are I know they will be really good because she deserves the very best. She is a great human being, has always been.
